A group of us hit up the midnight showing of The Hunger Games last night (or should I say this morning?). I was so happy to be there and I thoroughly enjoyed a night out with good pals, even though it was way past our bedtimes and even if we were surrounded on all sides by crazy teenagers. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
So, the movie! I thought it was so good. Totally dug it. The way I envisioned things to be from reading the book were totally how they portrayed them in the movie. District 12, the crazy fashions of the Capitol people, the arena...it was all really spot on, I thought. I'm no movie critic or expert on movies, but I thought the casting was really well done, too.
