Robert Siegel Ceramics

Four Words: Park City Art Festival! And all of the amazing artists who come to display their work! I saw some incredible photography, woodwork, paintings, blown glass, clothing and metalwork. There are a few artists who were there that really stand out in my mind. Robert Siegel was one of them! His pottery speaks for itself. Clean and unfussy with bold and striking colors! These dishes are RIGHT.UP.MY.ALLEY folks! I was salivating as I walked through his booth admiring and touching every beautiful and colorful and glossy surface! Oh yes, these amazing pieces WILL call my countertop, dinner table and display cabinets home in the near future! He has just recently set up shop in L.A. and his web address is www.robertsiegelceramics.com if you would like to order online.

Hmm, I didn't notice this guy there, which is weird because he's right up my alley too. I especially love those little blue vases at the end - so cute! There was a lot of pottery at the festival this year that made me salivate, but all I walked away with was a swimming suit. It didn't make me salivate, per se, but it's pretty cute.

So last night last night Lance and I were at Denny's (don't judge - it was the only thing open after our movie got out). I reached into my purse to get my wallet, and out came a business card. A Robert Siegel business card. He was the only artist that I liked enough to ask for a card, and yet when I read your post yesterday I was certain that I must have missed his booth. Time for some ginkgo biloba.

Strikingly beautiful and original stuff. We bought plenty...he was at the top of Main street and should have been more in the thick of things...catch the tatoo on his forearm..."handmade".

Roger, Ahhh jealous you have a lot of his stuff! Seriously, I'm asking my husband for 6 full place settings for my birthday! Can't wait! And no I did not see the tattoo. Only spoke to him for a sec!:)
