How To: Hemp Friendship Bracelets

Over the last several weeks I have been really into making hemp bracelets!  I have made a bunch for nieces, my sis, my little girlies and myself!  They are super easy once you get the hang of it and super cute!  I love them stacked like the ones I did for my Indee pictured below!

A few tips before you get started:
1.  Use the softest hemp you can find.  It is a lot easier to work with than the wirey stuff!  I found mine at JoAnns!
2.  If you are doing the beaded version, make sure the beads you buy have a large enough hole running through them, otherwise you won't be able to string them on the hemp!
3.  If possible use a clipboard to secure your hemp before starting.  I like the portability of it.  It's always nice to sit on the couch watching a good movie and being productive at the same time!!  Multitasking anyone??
4.  If you don't have a clipboard, no worries.  Just make sure you have strong enough tape to secure your hemp to the counter.

Disclaimer:  I decided that doing a "how to" video would be easier than trying to take clear pictures of every single step, plus describe those steps in writing!  Yikes!  It was just me, my flip and a tripod, so I sincerely apologize for the meager video skill!  Also, if you do in fact decide to watch this video, I'm sorry you have to hear my man voice{seriously hate how I sound on video}, but what's a girl to do right?!;)

Thank you Kara - that was so helpful! You did a great job on the toot, although I didn't hear anything that sounded remotely manly. :) I'm excited to make some bracelets!
